Signal Analysis Perfected–
FAMOS 6.0

We have just raised the bar in signal analysis. FAMOS, the tried and true classic in signal analysis, data display and presentation, steps up for the 6th round.
Take a close look at what FAMOS 6.0 has to offer. You can look forward to even easier operation, the revolutionary Data Browser, new and more impressive 3-D displays, and much more. Make your choice the new FAMOS 6.0 – a solution which meets your needs both now and in the future.

Widely varied data formats

(data import)
FAMOS supports the data formats of all common software applications as well as those of reputable manufacturers of measurement devices (Excel, binary, ASCII, Matlab-files etc.). Using a File Assistant, it is possible to create one's own import filter, or an appropriate specialized filter is available in the FAMOS site's download area. In addition, the manufacturer (imc) has experts who can help with your
inquiries.

All in plain view

(graphical display)
For quick data viewing and visualization, the new Data Browser is now available. In particular when measurements which consist of numerous channels and which must be compared with a reference measurement, the Data Browser handles everything without the need for complex renaming techniques or window operations.
For visualizing events, the Quick-View function and the curve window are provided. 2D or 3D, alphanumeric or tabular displays, or bar charts, are all possible with FAMOS, as well as configurable labeling, legends and other graphics tools. By means of Drag&Drop, additional curves, axes or coordinate systems can be added to the window. Cursor functions, markers, measurement windows and zooming with an overview window provide a quick overview.

Understanding measured data

(data analysis)
With offline data analysis, data sets of any length can be processed and calculation procedures can be expressed in ordinary mathematical notation.
For automation of analysis routines, the Sequence Editor is available, with which it is possible to add loops, queries and complex calculations to the procedures. All instructions which can be performed in the Formula Editor can be transferred to the Sequence Editor by means of Drag&Drop, which significantly simplifies the creation of macros.
For special tasks, FAMOS provides additional modules, for example for class-counting and order tracking analysis, for generating electronic filters, performing spectral analysis, synchronized display of data, video sequences and for the ASAM-ODS data model.
Additionally, custom function libraries can be linked to FAMOS. And, since for some purposes the ear is a better analysis tool than the eye, data sets can be made audible with the help of the new sound output capability.

Presenting data with the Report Generator

(documentation)
Ready-for-press documentations are created using the Report Generator: Using Drag&Drop, the user can place not only curves, graphics elements, tables, texts and images, but also buttons and dialogs in the freely configurable reports.
You can perform mathematical procedures are query parameters and then start complete analysis sequences. In the printed, multi-page report, the controls then disappear automatically. Templates make partially and fully automated documentation possible.
